Me and my wife stopped in after shopping at Target for something quick to eat. The bar caught my eye so we gave The Hangout a try. Our server was great, his name started with a V but I can’t remember it for the life of me. He told us it was steak night so I tried the 14oz Australian ribeye. Asked for medium rare and it came out perfect with a great sear and really good garlic herb flavor. Honestly didn’t expect a steak that good on a quiet Monday night. We heard they smoke brisket and ribs on Fridays, so we’re coming back tonight to see what they can do with BBQ!

First visit for us but will probably be the last. Upon arrival 3 beers on draft were out. Then we ordered the meatballs and were told they had ran out of those but then we were told they were making a fresh batch. We had ordered the Caprese which came quickly but then we waited for 10 min for silverware because there were none rolled behind the bar. I let another bartender know that was cutting fruit that we needed silverware and he said absolutely then went back to cutting his fruit. Original bartender came back and we let him know and finally got it. We were still waiting on meatballs but they were taking so long we went ahead and ordered a large puzza to be told they were out of large crusts so we had to order a small. I ordered a another chardonnay and they ran out of it so I switched to cab. Meatballs showed up 45 minutes later after the small pizza had arrived. The food was actually very good but hard to overlook a place that is that poorly managed. The bartender was so overwhelmed with everything running out he was doing the best he could to keep everyone happy. With all the choices and delicious restaurants in the immediate area this place might not be open next year i

This place has its regulars, and maybe the reason for the food quality. Taking advantage of those committed to their patronage. The fries were overcooked. The Italian sandwich was plain.. nothing added other than dry bread, cheese and cold cuts. I had to request condiments as they were not even offered. The chicken parmegan sandwich appeared to be reheated and days old. The tots were the only good we enjoyed. The service and attitudes by the seasoned staff was very uninviting. New lady tried her best, but was left alone to handle most tables. This just caused for delay on getting out of there.

I’ve been to the previous location and this one several times. The food is consistently delicious, plentiful, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is pleasant with room for large or small parties. Catering is also available which we used for my son’s wedding a few years back and is our first consideration for my daughter’s wedding later this year. Friendly staff as well!
